Reports from local sources show the collision happened in the eastbound lanes of Arapahoe Road near South Boston Street and South Daytona Street.

Responders, including police and EMS, were seen working at the crash site to help those involved. Traffic was stopped back to Uinta Street while the crash scene was occupied, and local motorists were forced to find alternate routes. Colorado Auto Accidents

Car accidents continue to be a relentless problem across the United States, and Colorado is no exception. Across the country, there’s a traffic collision roughly every minute. That translates to nearly 1,440 crashes every single day, many of which result in serious injuries. In Colorado alone, tens of thousands of people are injured each year in motor vehicle accidents.

The vast majority of these crashes—both in Colorado and nationwide—are the direct result of driver negligence. Distracted driving alone is responsible for more than 400,000 crashes in the U.S. annually. Other common causes include speeding, driving under the influence, and drowsy driving.
