Legal Assistant

Janet Nuno-Navarro serves as the firms bilingual legal assistant, supporting the management of personal injury cases with precision, professionalism, and a strong client-centered approach. She assists in preparing legal correspondence, organizing case files, and ensuring the timely flow of legal documentation to help move cases forward efficiently.

Before joining Smith & Weidinger, Janet developed strong communication and organizational skills while working in retail, where she managed customer service responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. In this role, she worked in resolved complex customer concerns, skills that now enhance her work in the legal field.

Though early in her legal career, Janet brings strong dedication, drive, and a commitment to excellence. She is currently completing her Associate of Applied Science in Paralegal Studies at the Community College of Denver, where she is also earning her Paralegal Certificate. Her coursework has equipped her with a solid understanding of legal procedures, legal writing, and case preparation.

Fluent in both English and Spanish, Janet plays an essential role in communicating with a broader range of clients, helping ensure that all individuals feel heard, understood, and supported throughout their legal process.
