Denver Motorcycle Accidents
Colorado’s roads—from the busy streets of Denver to winding mountain highways—draw thousands of motorcyclists each year. While riding offers a sense of freedom, it also comes with serious risks. Fatal motorcycle accidents have tragically claimed numerous lives across the state, occurring on high-traffic routes like I-25, Colfax Avenue, and Speer Boulevard, as well as quieter suburban and rural roads.
Many of these deadly collisions are preventable. Common contributing factors include distracted driving, speeding, failure to yield, and driving under the influence. Motorcycle riders, with limited protection compared to car occupants, are especially vulnerable. Fatal crashes can leave families devastated, facing not only emotional trauma but also sudden financial burdens such as funeral costs, lost income, and long-term hardship.
