Denver, CO – Pedestrian Killed in Hit-and-Run on E Colfax Ave Near Trenton St

Denver, CO (October 6, 2025) – A deadly hit-and-run crash on Monday, October 6, claimed the life of a pedestrian on East Colfax Avenue, according to Denver Police.
The accident occurred just after midnight near the intersection of East Colfax Avenue and Trenton Street. Investigators said the victim was crossing East Colfax from north to south when a dark-colored SUV struck them. The SUV fled the scene immediately after the crash, leaving the pedestrian fatally injured.
