Denver, CO – Motorcyclist Hurt in Accident on I-25 near 6th Ave

Denver, CO (July 1, 2025) — A motorcyclist sustained serious injuries late Tuesday night, July 1, following a hit-and-run crash on southbound Interstate 25 at the westbound 6th Avenue interchange.
According to the Denver Police Department, the collision occurred around 11:20 p.m. and involved a passenger vehicle and a motorcycle. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene, leaving the injured motorcyclist behind.
Emergency responders arrived quickly and provided aid before transporting the motorcyclist to a nearby hospital for treatment of serious bodily injuries. Authorities have not released the identity of the victim or additional details about their condition at this time.
As of late Tuesday night, southbound I-25 was reduced to one lane near the crash site, causing significant traffic delays. Motorists were advised to seek alternate routes while investigators processed the scene.
