Hit-and-Run Accidents in Colorado

Hit-and-run accidents are a growing concern across Colorado. Busy intersections like North Federal Boulevard and West 6th Avenue are especially prone to crashes, with drivers rushing through traffic lights or failing to yield.

When someone flees after causing harm, victims face added challenges as they work to recover physically, emotionally, and financially.

Victims of hit-and-run accidents often suffer injuries such as broken bones, head trauma, spinal injuries, and severe cuts.

In this case, the victim suffered a serious leg injury, which may require surgery, physical therapy, and months of recovery. Medical costs can pile up quickly, and many victims lose income while unable to work.

An experienced car accident attorney in Denver can help victims of hit-and-run crashes understand their legal options. Even if the driver is not immediately identified, victims may still be able to pursue compensation through their own insurance policy.

If the at-fault driver is found, a lawyer can hold them accountable for damages such as medical bills, lost wages, rehabilitation costs, and pain and suffering.

Insurance companies often minimize payouts, which is why having skilled legal representation is essential. Attorneys can investigate the crash, work with police reports, and fight to secure fair compensation for victims.
