Aurora, CO (October 1, 2025) – A man died on Wednesday morning after a driver struck him and fled the scene on Wednesday morning, October 1, in Aurora. The crash happened just after 6:00 a.m. on East Hampden Avenue near South Picadilly Road.
Investigators say the man was walking east in the traffic lane while pushing a shopping cart when a vehicle traveling in the same direction hit him with devastating force.
