Denver, CO – Motorcyclist Critically Injured in Crash at 46th Ave & Lowell St

Denver, CO (September 9, 2025) – A motorcyclist is fighting for their life after a violent crash with a bicyclist on Sunday, September 7, in northwest Denver.
The collision happened around 2:54 a.m. at the intersection of 46th Avenue and Lowell Street. Investigators said a motorcycle and a bicycle collided in the roadway, causing the rider to be thrown from the bike.
The impact left the motorcyclist trapped and severely injured. Witnesses reported that they were struggling to breathe as emergency crews arrived.
Firefighters worked urgently to free the rider before paramedics transported them to a nearby hospital in critical condition. The bicyclist was also taken to the hospital for treatment, though their injuries were less severe.
