We hope the wounded individuals make a rapid recovery.

Colorado Car Accidents

In a fast-paced and ever-growing city like Denver, traffic accidents are a common—and often serious—part of daily life. Between heavy congestion, unpredictable mountain weather, and the rise in distracted driving, it’s no wonder that hundreds of people are injured in motor vehicle crashes across the city each year.

Major corridors like I-25, Colfax Avenue, and Federal Boulevard are frequent hotspots for collisions. From rear-end crashes during peak-hour gridlock to high-impact side collisions at intersections, these accidents can leave victims with severe injuries and lasting consequences.

Statewide, Colorado experiences over 100,000 vehicle crashes annually. In a recent year alone, more than 3,800 people sustained serious injuries in traffic accidents—many of those right here in the Denver metro area.

Often, the root cause of these accidents comes down to driver negligence. Speeding, distracted driving, failing to yield, and running red lights are just a few examples of reckless behaviors that continue to put others in harm’s way. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) reports that more than 90% of crashes nationwide are linked to human error.

For crash victims, the aftermath can feel overwhelming. Painful injuries, rising medical costs, lost income, and the emotional toll of trauma can turn your life upside down in a matter of seconds.
