Colorado Car Crashes

Denver is a city full of movement, bustling with traffic, construction zones, and an ever-growing population. But with that constant activity comes a harsh reality: car accidents happen here every single day, often leaving people with serious injuries and lasting consequences.

Major thoroughfares like I-25, Colfax Avenue, and South Federal Boulevard are common sites of crashes ranging from fender benders to violent collisions. Whether caused by distracted driving, speeding, or failure to yield, these accidents often have one thing in common: they could have been prevented.

Each year, Colorado records more than 100,000 motor vehicle collisions. Thousands of those result in serious injuries, with a significant number taking place right here in the Denver metro area. Victims are often left dealing with more than just physical pain—they face medical expenses, time away from work, and the emotional weight of trauma and uncertainty.

Data from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration shows that driver error is a factor in the vast majority of crashes. From texting behind the wheel to blowing through a red light, careless actions can have life-altering consequences for everyone involved.
